Returns + shipping

Our dresses are one of a kind, made from deadstock fabrics here in Los Angeles and produced in small runs.

Email us at info@shopgimmickclothing.com within 14 days of your order arriving with the reason for your return. After 14 days we cannot except any return requests.

Once your return is accepted you will receive a return label (USA customers only at this time, international orders must pay for return shipping costs). All shipping fees are nonrefundable.

Please make sure that your return is shipped back to us in the way that you received it, including all promotional items. If your item returns to us damaged or worn,  we can not give you a full refund.

We do not accept returns for buyers remorse. Once orders are purchased they can not be canceled.


Processed within 3-5 business days following the return arriving in an unused/unworn condition.

All refunds will go back to the original form of payment or you may ask for store credit.

Please note that orders cannot be cancelled. Shipping costs plus any taxes are nonrefundable. Please note: All customers are responsible for exchange or return postage at this time.


We strive to make sure that sizing information is readily available at the time of purchase.

Due to our limited run of each dress, we can't guarantee that your alternative size is available for an exchange.

If you would like to exchange please reach out to us within 7 days after you have received your order. After 7 days we cannot assist in granting a size exchange.

Expedited shipping is available via USPS Priority Mail Express, the cost is calculated based on your location. (1-2 business days)

$25 Flat Fee for 7-12 business days (depending on your location)

Expedited shipping is available via Priority Mail Express International, the cost is calculated based on your location. (3 business days)

Please note: All customers are responsible for (DDU) customs duties or taxes (CAD). Duties and taxes depend on your international location. Please contact the postage service for more information on your government specific taxes and duties.

Please note: All international customers are responsible for exchange or return postage at this time.

If you refuse your package due to the amount of your customs fees and taxes, you WILL NOT receive your money back in any form, no exceptions. You may contact your local postage carrier to dispute the amount, however, we are not responsible for any packages after they are shipped out. If you refuse the package without contacting us you will be charged with returning fees and a 25% restocking fee.


Unfortunately, we cannot be held accountable for any missing and/or lost international or domestic packages. Once a package is shipped, we no longer have any control over the shipment process. 

We recommend you contact your local post office with the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email for reference, to inquire of its status if it has surpassed 40 business days.
